Lesley and Peter would like to welcome you to our new home and hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

 The Old Stables Guest House offers a uniquely rural location in a small hamlet at the gateway of Englands' most beautiful national park - The Lake District.

We provide a comfortable and tranquil base from which to explore the Lake District on Bike, Horse, Foot or by Car!



The Old Stables is newly opened in July 2009 and has been refurbished to a very high standard.

We are just six miles from junction 36 of the M6, and only two and a half miles from Oxenholme Station on the West Coast Mainline.

Accomodation comprises:

Bedroom 1 (Double, Sleeps 2):

• Double Bedroom Ensuite (with additional smaller double for children)

Bedroom 2 (Double, Sleeps 2):

• King Size Double in Annex wtih Ensuite Shower

Bedroom 3 (Double Sleeps 2):

• Super King Size Double or Twin Room with Ensuite Shower

Self Catering Holiday Let (Sleeps 4)
